Kink from the Road

Once again, I'm out and about on a business trip to London, this time with Lizzie in tow as an early Xmas gift for her. We're staying in Knightsbridge, a posh part of London. Where we are staying you can barely walk without tripping over an embassy. All along Sloan Street on our way to the Tube we pass by designer stores each way—Gucci, Prada, Louis Vuitton, etc. One window caught our eye the other evening with this little number perched inside:

"Do you think they're selling that?" Lizzie asked about the belt and collar harness. "I don't know," I replied. "What would a vanilla do with it? Would you wear something sheer under it?" We proceeded all the way to the Underground station, discussing this. Needless to say, every time we've passed by since it strikes a new phase of the conversation.

So, just a controversial bit of "fashion" to titillate or a legit piece of haute couture for the rich and kinky?

New Series: Ads--Lifestyle or Loathsome?

I came across a treasure trove of vintage print advertisements recently. You've probably seen most of these somewhere amongst the lifestyle, feminism or other popular blogs (Mashable, Buzzfeed, etc.). I saved a bunch, not quite sure what I wanted to do with them but knowing I wanted to do something with them for my blog.

Then I hit on the idea that I should ask the rest of you, are these ads offensive or, in the scheme of D/s, lifestyle, top/bottom or whatever you're into are these in fact, more lifestyle (albeit a bit tongue in cheek)?

So, to kick off the series, here's the first and likely least "offensive" of the bunch (and I put "offensive" in quotes because I can't imagine you'd find much offensive if you're surfing blogs such as mine!).

Ad #1: Lifestyle or Loathsome?

So what do you think?
